31 Days of Manis: Day 18, Half Moon

Today’s challenge mani features half moons. 

I used paper reinforcements to create the shape, but I’m not so sure I have the right fingers or nail length to pull this off. At  first I used OPI’s Pepe’s Purple Passion, from the Muppet’s Collection.

 I was hoping to love this but it kept drying to this weird semi-matte finish, even after top coating it with Seche Vite. I gave up and layered OPI’s Teasy-Does It from their 2010 Burlesque collection. 

 I’m still not really feeling this style of mani on me, but the color is much better.

And on that  note, it's time to go see what L , Kisten and  Katherine did for their half moon manis. Tomorrow we'll have galaxy nails.
